The Church of The Holy Name at the corner of Monument Avenue and Thomas Road in Swampscott will have a “Salad, Soup and Sweets Supper” in Remick Hall.at 6 p.m., Friday Oct. 24.

In partnership with Temple Sinai of Marblehead, Congregation Shirat Hayam is proud to present brunch with Rabbi Jack Bemporad, “A Rabbi Between Two Popes,” Sunday, Oct. 19, noon at Congregation Shirat Hayam, 55 Atlantic Ave., Swampscott.

The Shapiro-Rudolph Adult Day Center in Swampscott recently teamed up with children from Congregation Shirat Hayam for a Tashlich ceremony, held each Rosh Hashanah, on the beach.

It will be the 162nd annual renewal for the Let It Snow Holiday Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22.

The Faith Formation series sponsored by the Voice of the Faithful North Shore-Seacoast affiliate will host a presentation by Rev. James Keenan, S.J., professor of moral theology at Boston College, entitled “Advent: A Season of Conversion, Healing and Expectation.”
