Not hair-raising

Bands performing on stage, characters engaged in a brawl — this might sound like an out-of-control concert festival, but it was actually the second edition of the Jiggawatt, a video game tournament held Saturday at Nashoba Regional High School.

The trial started Wednesday in the case of a Boxborough firefighter/EMT who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in the back of the town’s ambulance on the way to the hospital.

Led by juniors Coby Horowitz and Brandon Aylaian, Nashoba placed third at the Massachusetts Division 1 cross-country state championships Nov. 15 at Franklin Park.
