FOUND: ‘Old Dirty,’ the 3-year-old pit bull from Stoneham
After missing for more than a week, Old Dirty, the 3-year-old “celebrity” pit bull from Stoneham, was found Saturday, July 5, on a Wakefield woman’s front lawn, suffering from injuries after a car struck him several days prior.

‘Velvet Elvis’ to rockabilly chamber concerts
Stoneham -On Thursday evening, expect to see one zoot suit and perhaps some “Blue Suede Shoes.” Velvet Elvis, a regional band that plays 1950s rock ‘n’ roll classics, will open the Chamber of Commerce Summer Concert Series at Town Common. The show begins at 7 p.m. and offers free admission. .
