Corbin indicted on hit and run charges

Norton -District Attorney Sam Sutter announced today that Timothy Corbin, 39, of 25 Graves Ave. in Northampton, has been indicted by a Bristol County Grand Jury on several felony charges connected to the July 19th fatal hit and run crash on Route 123 in Norton.
Corbin was indicted late Wednesday on charges of manslaughter by motor vehicle, felony motor vehicle homicide, leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury or death, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor-sixth offense, operating a motor vehicle to endanger, leaving the scene of property damage and marked lanes violations.
Corbin will be arraigned on the new charges by Assistant District Attorney Cynthia Brackett in New Bedford Superior Court. The date of arraignment has not yet been scheduled.
Corbin is currently being held in jail on $500,000 cash bail, which was set by an Attleboro District Court Judge on July 31st.
The victim, 48-year-old Bryan Nadeau, was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident. Nadeau was riding his bicycle along Route 123 when he was struck from behind and thrown a long distance.
