The letter and newspaper that Beverly Hector-Smith, 71, brought to the Morse Institute Library in Natick Saturday have yellowed and worn thin in the more than 150 years since they were crafted.

    The environment dominated a large part of last night's Board of Selectmen meeting, as members received a report detailing the town's efforts to reduce greenhouse gases and moved to stop a project which could threaten local water supplies.
