Women’s Dance Ensemble auditioning for February show

Lexington -The Lexington Women’s Dance Ensemble, a subset of The Lexington Players, will hold dance auditions Sunday, Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. at Hancock Church, 1912 Mass. Ave. in Lexington.
Performance dates are Feb. 8, 9 and 10. The group is looking for jazz, lyrical and/or tap dancers with heart and passion for dance and dance expression.
The primary age range requested is 25 to 40 and up. Dance experience is required. Come prepared to dance; you will do basic patterns across the floor and learn a short combination. There will be potential for performing in multiple pieces based on level of ability.
The ensemble also needs choreographers. To be considered as a choreographer come prepared with an original piece (any style) not to exceed two minutes. If accepted as a choreographer you will work with the director to select a piece appropriate to the theme of the show. For further questions please email Wendy Costello at wecostello@rcn.com.
