Study: Reports of risky teen behavior are down
Lexington -Today’s Lexington High School students drink, smoke, and use drugs less often than any other group of LHS students since 1995. That is according to the 2007 Youth Risk Behavior Survey, the results of which were released this week.

Researcher earns funding to study aging
Lexington -Boston University School of Medicine researcher Diddahally Govindaraju, a Lexington resident, was awarded a $75,000 grant from The National Academies Keck Futures Initiative for his work “Human Lifespan and Healthspan Across Time and Space.”

Lexington -NAMI Central Middlesex, serving Lexington, is putting together a team to participant in the 5th Annual NAMIWalks Boston. Lexington members on this team include Francine Stieglitz, Billie Drew, and Ralph Fleischmann.

Honors come double for Doran
Lexington -The Lexington chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) presented the Excellence in Community Service Award to S. Levi (Sam) Doran at the Chapter’s meeting March 12.
