Marcia (Cate) Desjarlais, 80, of Littleton, died at Emerson Hospital in Concord on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008.

Jean Rosalind (Clarke) Harwood, 81, died peacefully at her daughter’s home in California on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008.
William P. Kiniry, 74, of Arlington, died at Lexington Health Care Center in Lexington on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, after a long illness.
Jean Dunne Klinck, 90, formerly of Weston and Concord, died peacefully in Naples, Fla. on Friday, Aug. 29, 2008.
Doris (Heisler) McClarin, 95, of Concord, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at the Rivercrest Skilled Nursing Center.
Peter W. Smith, 85, a longtime resident of Concord, died at Carleton-Willard Village in Bedford on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, after a long illness.
Wallace Shaw Smith, 83, died peacefully at a local hospital on Wednesday, August 20, 2008.
Roberta J. (Locke) Tonks, 72, of S. Berwick, Maine, formerly of Chelmsford, died unexpectedly at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell, on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008. She was the wife of Gerald D. Tonks.
Charles S. White, 99, died peacefully on June 18, 2008, in Sarasota, Fla.
Pietro J. Antonangeli, 77, a lifelong resident of Concord, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Judith A. (Wilson) Antonangeli.
Alfred Michael Bertocchi, 81, died on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. He was the husband of Doris (Salvucci) Bertocchi of Vero Beach, Fla. and Plymouth.
Evelyn J. (Casagrande) Mathis, 91, of Concord, died Friday Aug. 29, 2008, at Emerson Hospital in Concord. She was the wife of Ernest J. Mathis who died in 1979.
Richard M. Ford, 81, of Concord, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at Concord Healthcare Center, after a period of failing health.
Frances (Davenport) Hayden, 87, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, N.H. She was the wife of Roger T. Hayden.
Helen (Sundquist) Bare, 101, formerly of Lincoln, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008. She was the devoted wife of the late Bruce Bare for 51 years.
Jacqueline Lee Parke-Hayward passed from among us, of cancer, at her home in Carmel, Maine. She was born “the day Camelot fell” and in so many ways epitomized the hopes, dreams and tragedy, which survive from that era.
John Allan Wahlberg, 87, formerly of Spring Hill, Fla., and Concord, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at Homestead Village. He was married to Grace (Carlson) Wahlberg who died in April 2003.
Lucy A. (Amende) Walker, 82, died at Emerson Hospital on Sunday, July 20, 2008. She was, and will always be, the beloved wife of Carlton J. Walker Jr. They were married for 60 years.
Peter W. Smith, 85, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at Carleton-Willard Village in Bedford. He was the husband of the late Lucile (Edson) Smith.
Martin Michael Maloney of Concord, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at Emerson Hospital. It’s been called the “greatest generation” and for a large family and huge cadre of friends, colleagues and associates.
