35 pipe bombs detonated outside East Bridgewater home

Bomb experts who spent the night detonating explosive devices found at an East Street home expect to remain at the scene until noon today, checking for other possible explosives, while the man who lived there faces charges.

With admonitions from Selectman Chairman David Walsh and Finance Committee Chairman Tony Figuerido to leave the budget as presented intact, 464 voters did just that at Town Meeting Monday night.

Budget Blues

An East Bridgewater man was killed  and another man injured this afternoon after the aluminum ladder they were moving hit a power line.

Town Meeting passed an article requesting $275,000 for architectural plans and designs for a new Senior Center on the Sachem Rock property.
