Stopped at end of first half, D-Y rolls to 29-7 Chowder Bowl win

Time ran out on Dennis-Yarmouth in the first half, but the Dolphins made up for it after intermission and won its sixth straight Thanksgiving Day Chowder Bowl game over Nauset that was much closer than the 29-7 final score indicated.

The Mashpee Falcons once again handed the Cape Tech/Harwich Crusaders a loss duirng their annual Thanksgiving Day clash. Mashpee won 35-0 for their fourth win in as many tries against the Crusaders.

Nauset's All American goalie Brett Conrad

Conrad reels in Player of the Year/All American honors

Nauset’s supersized senior goalie Brett Conrad was awarded the Atlantic Coast Player of the Year honors to go along with his recent selection as an All American.

He’ll be in net as Nauset coach John McCully coaches the EMass Div. 2 All Stars against the North All Stars Friday morning.

Conrad posted 13 shutouts this season and led the Warriors to the Div. 2 South crown before losing in the state semifinals.

With eyes on another upset, the Nauset Warriors boys' soccer team had their chances, but couldn't capitalize on their scoring opportunities, losing 2-0 to Masconoment in the Div. 2 semifinals on Tuesday night in Weymouth, ending their dream ride through the state tournament.
