Conrad posted 13 shutouts this season and led the Warriors to the Div. 2 South crown before losing in the state semifinals.

For the first time in eight years, Matt Stuck will not be on the sidelines for a Thanksgiving Day high school football match-up between archrivals Bourne and Wareham.

The oldest high school football rivalry on Cape Cod and one of the oldest in the state will be a clash between the old and the new this year when Barnstable hosts Falmouth in the 123rd renewal of the rivalry.

Barnstable High School’s Stephanie Bristol has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Under Armour All-American High School team.

For the Dennis-Yarmouth High School football team, this year’s traditional Thanksgiving Day game against arch-rival Nauset does not have the same feeling and excitement that it did last year, but as coach Paul Funk says, “Thanksgiving is Thanksgiving.”

Thanksgiving is a bittersweet holiday for the Sandwich High School football team.

The Nauset Warriors football team went through a facelift in the offseason, both on and off the field.

The Nauset boys' soccer team lost in the Div. 2 state semifinals to Masconoment on Tuesday night in Weymouth, ending the season for the Warriors as they finish with a 16-4-3 record.

The second annual Thanksgiving Football special section, featuring the Cape’s five high school football games, will appear in the Tuesday, Nov. 25 Sandwich Broadsider, Bourne Courier and Harwich Oracle, and Wednesday, Nov. 26 Register and Falmouth Bulletin.
