 Bernard T. Loughran Sr., a longtime resident of Watertown before moving to Belmont in 1964, died Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at the Neville Center at Fresh Pond, Cambridge, following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008, for Ms. Caroline “Cara” Short. Ms. Short died at her residence in Belmont on Monday June 23, 2008 at the age of 75.

Bernice I. (Fletcher) Morrossi, 88, formerly of Belmont, died Friday, June 20, 2008, in Troy, Mich. She was the wife of the late Joseph L. Morrossi.

Esther (Ettenberg) Lerman, 102, a resident of Belmont for 36 years, died at the Meadow Green Nursing Center in Waltham on Monday, June 23, 2008.

Florence M. Small, 80, a longtime resident of Woburn, died in Cambridge on Sunday, June 15, 2008. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Small who died in 1997.

Edward Talanian, formerly of Arlington, died Friday, June 13, 2008. He was the beloved husband of the late Natalie (Dadmian) Talanian.

Edith (Thatcher) de Burlo of Belmont, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 8, 2008, in Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston. She was the wife of C. Russell de Burlo Jr.

Claire F. (Roche) McEachern, 89, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at the Gosnell Hospice House in Maine. She was the beloved wife of the late John McEachern.
