Sunday is Abington Pride Day

There will be demonstrations of quilt making and martial arts.

The second annual Abington Pride Day will be held Sunday, June 10 in the Nisby Bandstand near the Abington Town Library. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be plenty of free parking, as well as culinary cook-off competitions for chili and pies.

And best of all, proceeds from the festive festivities will benefit the Abington Pride Day Scholarship Fund, which will help some local youngsters take their pride in Abington to college campuses this fall.
